Thoresby Vale, Edwinstowe
T&B have been acting on behalf of Harworth in the sale of residential phases at Thoresby Vale since 2019. Thoresby Vale, the transformation of the former Thoresby Colliery will deliver over 800 new homes over a 10-year period. In addition to the new homes, planning permission has been granted for up to 250,000 sq ft of new commercial space and 20,000 sq ft of leisure employment space (retaining buildings within the former pit yard area), and a new Primary School is proposed for delivery by Harworth as part of the scheme. The former spoil heap, the highest vantage point for miles around and offering unrivalled panoramic views of Sherwood Forest is undergoing a program of restoration that will create a 350-acre Country park, with multiple ecological habitats and significant areas of green infrastructure.
The sale of the first phase of residential land to Harron Homes, delivering 140 dwellings, completed in late 2019. Subsequent phases have been sold to David Wilson Homes delivering a further 220 units in phase 2 (with additional phases under contract).
