This 16 acre site, benefiting from Outline planning consent for up to 200 residential units, was owned by 3 parties (freehold landowner, strategic land promoter and Private Family Trust),

The land was sold via informal tender, following the targeted marketing of the opportunity. The opportunity was exposed to all active developers, without the need to widely advertise the site at the clients’ request. A full suite of technical information was made available to all interested parties, including additional information procured at our recommendation to ensure all offers received were robust and deliverable.

Following the submission of offers, a shortlist of interested parties was selected, all of which were interviewed prior to requesting ‘best and final’ offers.

A sale was secured subject to the purchaser obtaining a Reserved Matters planning consent for their preferred scheme. The eventual value was enhanced by more than 15% from the receipt of initial offers to legal completion and was concluded in 14 months from the commencement of marketing.
